Totally Sydney is an independent travel guide to Sydney, Australia — neighbourhood guides, attraction write-ups, food and drink recommendations, day trips, and the practical information visitors actually need, written honestly and in plain language.
What makes this different
Most travel sites are optimised for one of two things: advertising revenue or affiliate commissions. Both push toward the same result — content that recommends whatever pays, padded out to rank well in search engines, rather than written to actually help the person reading it.
We write the opposite way: start with what's genuinely useful, keep it honestly written, and prioritise getting each guide right over publishing as many pages as possible.
How the site is built
Every page here is written deliberately, not generated in bulk. We check practical details like visa rules and transport prices against official sources and revisit guides as things change. The site covers English plus several other languages, with more being added, so it's useful to Sydney's visitors regardless of where they're from.
