Site Update

13 New Guides Just Published

This week's update: three more neighbourhoods, coastal walks, wine country, and the practical details we'd been missing.

Updated 2026-08-11 Updates

What's new this week

In keeping with the plan to publish two to three times a week, here's the latest batch — thirteen new guides across every section of the site:

Neighbourhoods: Bondi, Newtown, and Manly join The Rocks, giving a much better spread across the harbour, the inner west, and the northern beaches.

Things to do: A full breakdown of the three ways to experience the Harbour Bridge, an honest take on whether Taronga Zoo is worth the ferry trip, and a proper guide to the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk.

Food & drink: How to actually do Sydney Fish Market without wasting half a day, and where to find the city's best Vietnamese food (hint: it's not in the CBD).

Day trips: Hunter Valley wine country and the Royal National Park join the Blue Mountains as fully covered options beyond the city.

Practical info: Money and tipping, the best time of year to visit, and getting connected with a SIM card on arrival — the unglamorous but genuinely useful stuff.

What's next

We're continuing to fill out each section evenly rather than exhausting one category at a time — expect more neighbourhoods, more day trips, and the start of proper suburb-by-suburb food coverage in the next few updates. If there's a specific guide you'd like to see prioritised, get in touch via our contact page — we do read every message.
