Renting a car, opening hours & shopping, and Sydney for solo travellers are now translated into Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. That brings the practical info section to fourteen of its twenty-one articles fully available in all three languages, alongside English.
What's still English-only
Seven articles remain to be translated: the Australian slang guide, drone and photography laws, short-term rental rules, Sydney with kids, time zone and daylight saving, travel insurance, and the working holiday visa guide. Each is progressively more specialised than the core logistics we've prioritised so far — useful, but not what most visitors need to read first.
What this means in practice right now
A visitor planning a Sydney trip in Indonesian, Chinese, or Japanese can already read our take on visas, transport, money, safety, timing, packing, accessibility, connectivity, airport arrival, holidays, car rental, opening hours, and solo travel — the core logistics of a trip — without switching languages. The remaining seven niche topics will follow in upcoming updates.
What's next
Once practical info is genuinely complete, we're shifting to the neighbourhood and things-to-do sections, starting with the highest-traffic pages — The Rocks, the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and Bondi. Food & drink and day trips will follow after that.
