Three more practical guides, three more languages
Following on from getting around and visas last update, we've now translated money and tipping, is Sydney safe, and the best time to visit into Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
The pattern so far
We're deliberately working through practical info in order of what a visitor needs to know earliest — visas and transport first, now followed by budgeting, safety, and seasonal planning, all things that shape a trip before it's even booked. Five of the section's nineteen articles are now translated into all three languages, with the remainder (accessibility, packing, connectivity, and more) still to come.
Why we're not spreading across neighbourhoods yet
It would be easy to translate one popular neighbourhood guide per update instead and rack up a bigger translated-page count faster. We're holding off deliberately — finishing practical info properly means a non-English-speaking visitor can plan an entire trip's logistics on this site before we've translated a single neighbourhood, which matters more at this stage than partial coverage spread thin across every section.
As always, get in touch if you'd rather we prioritise differently.
